It’s the moments after the loss of Choriza May and the girls are debriefing on saying farewell to a wonderful queen. Continuing into Untucked Hannah admitted she would have chosen Scarlet and Scarlet was not a happy bunny, with Scarlet saying that track record meant nothing to Hannah but earlier on in the series Miss Envy herself also said she hates people choosing based on track record…

Hannah also confessed that she would have chosen Choriza partly on the fact that Scarlet doesn’t bring the same harmony and feelings that Choriza did to the situation.

But debrief over and now it’s week 7 and it’s our penultimate week in the competition so it’s the queen’s last chance to make it to the final.

The mini challenge saw quick drag for a bachelorette party and then it was time for Hen Party Antics as our queens competed in a dance floor dance-off. Tia was first out with LGD following quickly behind and as the music got faster, the moves got more manic. Scarlet was third to leave, with Marina and Hannah as our top two and ultimately our Aussie came out on top.

It’s onto the maxi challenge and the queens are celebrating the upcoming ‘nuptials’ of Michelle Visage and Graham Norton. The celebration will come in the form of a comedy roast from our queens with Hannah planning the order of service for the speeches.

Once planning has commenced it’s time to check in and get some comedy advice from funny, fabulous, female comedian Katherine Ryan.

Hannah is up first and she’s got a good idea just needs to make sure it’s nailed and tidy. Then we have Dada (LGD) and she’s feeling nervous due to roasts not being an overly common part of French culture. She has a few risqué boundary-pushing jokes and with some tweaks on advice from Katherine, we could be in for something good.

Marina is next out to try her hand and she’s aiming for more of a story-style format but with some good punchlines from what we are seeing. There is still nerves from Marina but hopefully, it will settle come the performance day. Scarlet is bringing her stuff to the stage and she has full sections on the go. She’s making points that bring a smile but not quite a full-blown laugh so a little work to be done. Ending things is Tia and she’s ready to test her stuff. She’s got great starting points and just needs that extra pop to bring the belly laughs.

Then it’s here and it’s time for elimination day, and as our queens get ready they open up about their experiences on their previous shows. We saw Hannah get vulnerable about how she felt about herself and how she wasn’t truly happy at one point in time, but she also revealed that she’s found her true self again and is back to loving who she is and what she does.

It’s go time, the stage is set and the top tables are ready as our speechgivers take to the stage to celebrate our bride and groom.

Hannah is kicking our speeches off and she has RuPaul in stitches. She is destroying this challenge with the perfect balance of insulting roasting but being properly funny with it.

La Grande Dame was next up and she had a lot to live up to. Dada is trying, but not all of her punchlines are landing and her nerves are showing through. She is trying but boy could you tell, it was a bit awkward but she gave it her all.

Our miniature Marina is next to give a speech. She’s doing pretty well getting good laughs and her punchlines are mostly landing but it was slightly stilted in parts.

Scarlet is up next and it’s not going well her jokes are falling flat and it’s not going down too well. Even Ru’s laughter feels a little more out of pity than actual joy.

Tia is closing things out and she’s coming out hot. She is knocking it out of the park, much like Hannah she is perfecting the comedy and insult balance.

Take Me Up The Aisle – Bridal Couture is our runway theme this week so here come our brides.

Hannah is coming out in a vision of white, she looks like a princess with lace ivory detailing and a huge train she is stunning.

LGD is giving post-nuclear war bride and she is svelte and poofy all in lemon frills from top to bottom.

Marina is channelling the traditional Yukan tribe style and although it’s bright and colourful it’s quite a contained look for Marina.

Scarlet has flown in from Vegas with her Elvis Presley-inspired design channeling the white and gold jumpsuit look we all know.

Tia has gone for a sci-fi bride who is also debuting her alien baby. As we see silver and white stunning satin, our little alien baby sits centre stage to make its presence known.

Critique time and Hannah as expected is getting all the love and praise for her performance and her runway.

LGD is up next and it’s a mixed bag as they appreciate her efforts but did pick up that she didn’t do too awful and how stunning her runway look was.

Marina also had a mixed bag of how she had her good successful roast moments but also had some missed points. Like LGD Marina was heaped with praise for her outfit and how intricate and beautiful the piece was.

Scarlet was also picked up on her for struggles with the roast. It was noted that she almost wasn’t connected with her jokes and her delivery wasn’t quite right. They all appreciated her beautiful take on the cliche Elvis style turned into beauty.

Tia was up last and the judges were pleased and proud of how well she did, they were glad to see Tia had brought herself to her presentation and how she was perfect up there. They loved her runway look and all pointed out the absolute glow-up she has had and how far she has come.

No surprise that this week saw Hannah and Tia as our top two battling for the final win. But we also found that Marina, LGD, and Scarlet were all at the bottom.

Our top two lip-synced to Euphoria by Eurovision Queen Loreen and we saw Hannah Conda get her first win and her first badge and I’m thrilled for her. She also had to choose who to eliminate and just missing out on the final is Scarlet Envy who we saw say goodbye to the girls and the competition.

We were then left with our final four queens who will compete in a lip sync smackdown for the crown.
