As always we start with Untucked from episode 5 to begin with, and we see that Tia Kofi would have agreed with Marina Summers in the decision to send Gothy home and save Choriza.

Once the debrief was over it was on to week 6 and a fresh start with a fresh challenge. Our Maxi challenge the week sees the queens star in the new hit show Strictly Come Prancing which sees our queens pair up to take on a dance challenge.

3 couples dancing either a quickstep, tango, or samba and as the previous winner Marina picks the teams and the dances that they have to do and early doors I think Marina is set for another win as she is a top-level dancer.

Marina paired people in terms of height compatibility which meant we had

The tall pairing of Tia and La Grande Dame

The short pairing of Hannah and Marina

The midsize pairing of Choriza and Scarlet

In the preparation and lead up we see all our pairs building their bonds and chatting about themselves as pairings and how things will work including Tia voicing concerns that tall and tall may be set for struggles.

It’s onto choreography time and Strictly Come Dancing’s own Janette Manrara is teaching our pairs their routines but this is pair work, so she needs a partner to teach with and Janette knew the perfect partner for herself in her adorable husband Aljaz Skorjanec.

Up first for choreo, it’s Choriza and Scarlet to get their steps. Both queens aren’t exactly self-professed dancers or great at picking up choreo quickly but they are trying and they are giving passion and intensity in rehearsal.

Then it’s samba time for Hannah and Marina and it’s busy, it’s chaotic and it’s step heavy but Hannah is holding up with Marina and the two are matching well. We also got an added booty shake from Aljaz in rehearsals much to the queens’ delight.

Now our two tall queens are quickstepping and it’s adorable mania as they both attempt to get to grips with the moves and putting them in the right order. But, LGD and Tia and just giving joy and cuteness and the chaos is the sweetest thing.

It’s back to the werk room and time to get ready for the runway and love is in the air as the other queens stoke the romance rumours of Tia and La Grande Dame flaming the fans of desire in their direction.

During the half-and-half makeup prep, we see conversations turn to gender and representation with LGD sharing that Iel and Choriza sharing that Elle are terms in France and Spain for those who identify as nonbinary or gender neutral and Marina advising that things are a little more neutral and less labelled in the Philippines with their being no specific term used.

Performance time and up first is our Samba and boy did these girls come to slay, Hannah and Marina were toe to toe and step for step bringing a top tier performance.

Then came our tango from Choriza and Scarlet and you can see that the girls had clearly put the work in to try and get things right but there were still a few nerves and despite trying to hide it, neither queen was quite her vivacious and 100% confident self, but they still pulled off a pretty solid effort.

Finally, quickstep time and this gangly tangle of French and British limbs was messy but fabulous and charming and came good in the end.

Runway theme this week is business in the front party in the back.

Marina is here with her businesswoman who will never bow down to anyone look. However she will let loose with a business persons favourite pastime as we see the reveal of a cheeky karaoke machine in her back and booty.

Hannah Conda is a shiny shimmery kitty cat who is bringing serious business but she isn’t having a party in the back, the secret mice she hasn’t caught are the ones having a great time literally behind her back.

Scarlet Envy is going for the Hollywood glamour look she has become so well versed in with demonstrating a Barbra Streisand inspiration in the front before she bares all with her booty out on the walk away.

Choriza is a cute and campy ’60s business lady a vision in pink and orange who is rushing her way down the runway no doubt on her way to an important meeting before wait what’s that. Oh no she’s spilt her suitcase everywhere and whoopsies she’s let her secret slip of a plethora of panties and plastic penises as her contents emptied to the floor. But dildos and panties aside we see that this business beauty has a naughty side when he devils tail whips into site on the spin around as she shows she’s got a deviliciously delightful booty baby.

LGD is giving you purity whilst she slays in white as the beautiful bride in her stunning gown. But turn around and she is well equipped with her secret back business comprised of a plethora of guns and weapons strapped tight to her back for protection.

Tia has chosen a Saint Sebastian theme, with her outfit representing the queer icon. She is giving beauty and elegance in the front but her back displays a the pain and strife as she shows off her bloody and bejewelled arrows bleeding down her back.

Judging time and our top two were the samba sensations Hannah and Marina with unfortunately my darling Choriza May landing at the bottom with dance partner Scarlet Envy.

Watching the werk room chat is breaking my heart because Choriza is so heavily loved by the queens and she is not trying to put Scarlet down in her plea to stay, though she is upset at being in danger she’s still smiling despite everything and honestly I just don’t want her to leave I can’t bear to see her sad and I don’t want Choriza to go home, the competition won’t be the same without her.

But the time has come to lip sync for the win and Hannah and Marina are battling it out to Release Me by Agnes, and honestly, Hannah’s neon pleather kitty is giving for me. We had a little joint dance moment from both queens before Marina did an outfit change and went full-blown extra and ultimately led to a not-so-shocking third win at Mama Ru’s decision making and I think by now we can all take a wild guess as to who’s going to win the series.

Now it was time for Marina to yet again seal the fate of another queen and she decided to send home my forever winner and the fabulous Choriza May and honestly the laugh I let out at her ‘What?’

Ever the superstar she was gracious in her loss and took her exit like a true winner as we say Eat That Ass and Home-No to my gorgeous girl and farewell for now Choriza.

Despite her being sent home too early and not being crowned the winner, I do not doubt that our Geordie-Spanish superstar is just beginning on her epic journey to stardom and I will be right there following her (figuratively not physically I’m not a stalker) every step of the way.
